Level 2: Certificate in the Introduction to the Role of the Professional Taxi and Private Hire Driver Course qualification will aim to give you an introduction to the role of taxi and private hire driver in many local authorities in the UK. On completion of the course you will be eligible to apply for your taxi and private licence to the selected local authorities.

This course is designed to contribute towards the knowledge and understanding for obtaining Public Carriage Office (PCO) licence in more than 50 local authorities in the UK. 

This course is ideal for any driver new to the industry or for existing drivers wishing to renew their licence through industry recognised qualification. The course also meets the mandatory requirements for local councils. This Level 2 training course requirements for Southampton, Sheffield, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Woking, Guildford, East Hampshire, North East Lincolnshire and many other cities, towns and borough that require this qualification as part of their licensing application process.
