Entry Requirement:
Level 3 Award in Education and Training AET is an introductory, knowledge based teaching qualification. It can be undertaken by individuals who are not yet in a teaching or training role (pre-service) or are currently teaching or training (in-service), however the learners/candidates must be 19 years or above.

Introduction:
The Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training is a teaching qualification which has a teaching/training practice requirement. It is an ‘in service’ qualification designed for those working or wishing to work as teachers/trainers in England. It may be possible for pre-service teachers/trainers (defined as those who are not formally contracted as teachers/trainers) to also complete this qualification. This assessor qualification is intended for people who assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the work environment (for example a classroom, workshop, or any training environment). It includes the following assessment methods: Assessments of the learner in simulated environments, Skills tests, oral and written questions, assignments, projects, case studies and recognizing prior learning. This Vocational level consists of the following 2 Unit:
