In order to become an accredited school you must be qualified in the subject you are teaching and also have an appropriate teaching qualification. You should also have a minimum of six months qualified experience in the area in which you would like to teach.

Entry Requirement:
Entry requirement for this course are the basic functional skills (Numeracy, Literacy, ICT). Level 3 Award in Education and Training AET course or PTLLS course is an introductory, knowledge based teaching qualification. It can be undertaken by individuals who are not yet in a teaching or training role (pre-service) or are currently teaching or training (in-service).
Classroom Based Course:
It is a 3 days classroom session from 10am to 5pm. We have over 35 venues in the UK; covering all the major cities. This course will be taught and trained by an experienced teacher, who will use a wide range of teaching activities; including lectures, group work, discussion, demonstrations, candidates presentations and many more activities that help learning. Our courses are designed to be convenient and intuitive and delivered as part of a holistic approach that is supported by our awarding bodies. Micro teaching is an activity where trainee teachers prepare and deliver a short teaching and learning session to their peers.
Online / Distance Learning Course:
This qualification is delivered through our online based learning platform or classroom based with full tutor support throughout the course. A great option for anyone wishing to get the qualification using Online / Distance Learning method with the option to study from anywhere at anytime with our tutor support. You will be given full access to the Online Portal. You will be given up to 16 weeks to complete the assignments; however if you finish earlier, your certificate will be awarded early as long as you meet the required standard, you do not need to wait for 16 weeks.
Within the 16 weeks, you need to come in for 1 day micro-teach and assessment at any of our training venues close to you. Necessary resources such as computer, projector, flip chart will be provided for your micro-teach session. Our online course allows you to access other micro teach sessions in our one of the venues to observe as part of your course if you do not have anyone to observe yourself. However, if you like you can do this micro-teach session from your place and send it to us and will get assessed.
