The course raises participants’ understanding of the background to conflict and the contribution they can make to either calming or escalating a confrontation. The course assumes that delegates are competent in the basic development of lesson plans, basic presentation and delivery of classroom-based learning material. In addition to this, delegates will need knowledge and understanding of the sector in which they will be delivering, for example, Door Supervision, Security Guarding or CCTV etc. During the training day participants learn and practice key skills to build their confidence and to maintain composure whilst de-escalating customer conflict. Academic Progression:
On successful completion or during of the Level 3 Deliverer of Conflict Management Course, candidates can progress onto:
Entry Requirement:
For the Level 3 Deliverer of Conflict Management Course, candidate must be a minimum of 19 years old and you should have a formal recognised teaching/training or learning/instruction qualification like the Level 3 or 4 PTLLS or Level 3 AET or above.
Duration:
It is a 1/2 days partly distance learning/online and partly classroom session with tutor support. You will be given 3 weeks after class session to complete the coursework/assignment. However if you finish earlier, you will be awarded early with the certificate of Level 3 Deliverer of Conflict Management Course as long as you meet the required standard, you do not need to wait for 3 weeks.
