Level 4: Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Course is previously known as V1 award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (IQA) is a 12 credit on Regulated Qualifications Framework RQF and 90 guided learning hour. This course has been designed for those who intend to work within internal quality assurance and consisting of 2 mandatory units. It does not only relate to the training industry, it can be quality assurance within any field and sector. With this qualification you will be able to work within any company in internal quality assurance or become the Internal Quality Assurer of training centres, which is Internal Moderator/Verifier as we used to call it before.

This course consists of 2 units:
Unit 1: Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice is a knowledge-only award for those starting their journey as internal quality assurance practitioners or those who need to know about internal quality assurance but are not carrying out quality assurance themselves.

Unit 2: Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice is for practitioners who conduct internal quality assurance of the assessment process from within a centre/organisation, by sample planning, monitoring and advising on the practice of assessors.

Entry requirements:
You must have good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills. You also need to demonstrate level of competency in order to enroll for this course. You must be able to demonstrate competency through work place assessment. You must have at least 2 candidates to assess as part of the training.

Online / Distance Learning or Live Zoom Course:
Level 4 IQA qualification is delivered through our online based learning platform or Live Zoom based class with full tutor support throughout the course. A great option for anyone wishing to get the qualification using Online / Distance Learning method with the option to study from anywhere at anytime with our tutor support. You will be given full access to the Online Portal upon booking on to the course. Live Zoom is for 1 day session with a live tutor. You will be given up to 16 weeks to complete the assignments / coursework; however if you finish earlier, your certificate will be awarded early as long as you meet the required standard.

There is no formal examination is required, but at the end of the course you need to submit a complete portfolio to our head office for marking. You will also be required to provide supporting evidence.
